Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread, of your choice
  • Dijon mustard, optional, to taste
  • 1 1/2 ounces brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 slices leftover turkey
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce, plus more, to taste
  • 6 baby spinach leaves, optional, plus more, to taste
  • butter, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –On 1 slice of the bread, smear the Dijon mustard.

Step 2 –Stack the brie, the turkey, the cranberry sauce, the spinach, and another layer of the brie, in that order.

Step 3 –Put another slice of the bread on top.

Step 4 –Using the butter, smear the outsides of the sandwich or heat up the butter in a nonstick skillet, griddle, or panini press until it is sizzling.

Step 5 –Cook the sandwich in the hot pan or panini press, using a spatula to press it down on the sandwich, flipping halfway through so the sandwich is golden on both sides and the cheese is melted. You don’t need to pay attention to the last step if you are using a panini press.
