Tuscan Ribeye

Tuscan Ribeye has the fattiness and beefy flavor of a top-tier steak rubbed with Italian-style herbs and smoky brown sugar for a truly beautiful golden-brown jacket. Fried to crispy and juicy perfection, Tuscan Ribeye feels like a special occasion steak but only requires the effort of a weeknight dinner, making it an all-around marvel!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 (12-ounce) boneless ribeye steaks, about 1-inch-thick

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2 –Mix the thyme, the oregano, the paprika, the cayenne pepper, the black pepper, the brown sugar, and the salt in a small bowl.

Step 3 –Rub the steaks on both sides evenly with the olive oil and the spice rub.

Step 4 –Place the steaks on the grill and cook until reaching your desired level of doneness, reading 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 5-7 minutes per side.

Step 5 –Let the steaks rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving!
