Fall Whipped Butter

Finally, pumpkin flavor can come with you wherever and whenever you have a roll, crusty bread, or a bun that needs a little fall joie de vivre! Fall Whipped Butter is fluffy, creamy, and rich, with warm pumpkin pie spices and, of course, orange-gold sweet pumpkin! A little honey and vanilla bring out the splendid sweetness of Fall Whipped Butter, and makes it a treat all on its own! It might just be the perfect fall dessert in butter form!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • bread, optional, to taste, of your choice, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, add the butter, the cinnamon, and the pumpkin pie spice and, using an electric hand mixer with a wire whip attachment, whip to combine.

Step 2 –Slowly add the pumpkin purée to the butter mixture and whip to combine.

Step 3 –Add the honey and the vanilla to the butter mixture and whip until the mixture is thick and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Step 4 –Spoon the butter into a bowl or a jar.

Step 5 –Serve with the bread.
