Ingredients

  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup dill, freshly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup pickle slices, patted dry with paper towels
  • ranch dressing, optional, for dipping

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –In a shallow bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, dill, melted butter, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4 –Season the bread crumb mixture with salt and pepper.

Step 5 –Put the flour in a separate, shallow bowl.

Step 6 –In a third bowl, beat the eggs.

Step 7 –In batches, toss the pickles in the flour until lightly coated.

Step 8 –Dip the coated pickles in the eggs.

Step 9 –Toss the egg-coated pickles in the panko mixture until fully coated.

Step 10 –Place the pickles on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 11 –Bake until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes.

Step 12 –Serve with ranch.
