Angel Lush Cake

Angel Lush Cake takes the beloved angel food cake and decides to make it an even more heavenly experience. The angel food cake is sliced into layers and then filled with a creamy, fluffy, pineapple-vanilla delight! Tropical, floral, and so, so enticing, this filling is better than most frostings! You’d expect Angel Lush Cake to appear in a sunbeam, that’s how great it tastes! What a simple sweet treat to amaze your taste buds!

Ingredients

  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package French vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (10-ounce) round angel food cake, store-bought or homemade, cut crosswise into 3 layers
  • 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved, for topping

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, add the crushed pineapple with its juices and the pudding mix and mix to combine.

Step 2 –Add the whipped topping and gently stir to combine.

Step 3 –On a plate, stack the cake layers, spreading the pudding mixture between the layers and over the top of the cake.

Step 4 –Refrigerate the cake for 1 hour.

Step 5 –Serve topped with the halved strawberries.
