Bacon-Wrapped Brussels

So, Brussels sprouts are enjoying a new wave of popularity, becoming one of the vegetables of choice. What could possibly make them better? Don’t act like you don’t already know, it’s bacon! Bacon-Wrapped Brussels are precisely what they say they are: garden-fresh, crispy sprouts with an even more crispy and succulent bacon shawl wrapped around them! The balsamic dip on the side adds tang and extra savory flavor for those who want to take them to the next level, but Bacon-Wrapped Brussels are already a next-level appetizer that is surprisingly easy to make!

Ingredients

For the sprouts:

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 12 Brussels sprouts, stems trimmed

For the balsamic dip:

  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick baking mat.

Step 3 –Wrap 1 slice of the bacon around each sprout, securing each with a toothpick.

Step 4 –Bake the sprouts uncovered until the bacon is crispy and the sprouts are very tender, about 40 minutes.

Step 5 –Stir the mayonnaise and the vinegar together in a small bowl until smooth.

Step 6 –Serve the bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts with the dip.
