Ingredients

  • 1 (8.8-ounce) package ready-to-serve long grain and wild rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (26-ounce) jar chunky tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can Italian diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (14-ounce) can beef broth

Directions

Step 1 –Prepare the rice according to the package directions.

Step 2 –While the rice cooks, in a large saucepan, cook the beef, the green pepper, and the onion until the meat is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
