Breakfast Sliders

There are a lot of tried-and-true breakfasts for when you need to feed a crowd, but none of them compare to the classic breakfast sandwich. So, the real question is how you make breakfast sandwiches unique. Aha, of course! Breakfast Sliders! Pile fluffy scrambled eggs, meaty ham, and plenty of cheese on toasted buns with a maple syrup and butter topping! It’s genius! Oh, and bacon. They aren’t Breakfast Sliders without bacon. You could even say it’s not breakfast without Breakfast Sliders!

Ingredients

  • 9 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 2 1/2 cups mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend, shredded
  • 3 ounces deli-sliced ham, chopped
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl.

Step 3 –Add the salt, the pepper, the garlic powder, and the onion powder to the eggs, and whisk until the eggs are completely beaten.

Step 4 –Heat a large, non-stick skillet over medium heat and spray it with nonstick spray.

Step 5 –Pour the eggs into the hot skillet and scramble them by stirring them as they cook.

Step 6 –Transfer the skillet from the heat once the eggs are fully cooked.

Step 7 –Cut the dinner rolls open and place the bottoms on a baking sheet.

Step 8 –Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheese blend over the bottom buns.

Step 9 –Spoon the scrambled eggs evenly over the cheese layer on the buns.

Step 10 –Sprinkle the chopped ham and the crumbled bacon on top of the eggs.

Step 11 –Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the bacon layer.

Step 12 –Place the top buns on top of the sandwiches.

Step 13 –Stir the melted butter and the maple syrup together and brush the tops of the buns with the butter mixture.

Step 14 –Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake until the cheese is completely melted and the buns are toasted, about 20-22 minutes.

Step 15 –Remove the foil and serve.
