Ingredients

  • 2 cups unseasoned stuffing cubes or croutons
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 bacon strips, chopped, partially cooked

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease an 11×7-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Place the croutons in the prepared baking dish.

Step 4 –Sprinkle the croutons with the cheese.

Step 5 –Combine the eggs, milk, salt, mustard, onion powder, and pepper.

Step 6 –Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish.

Step 7 –Top the mixture with the partly cooked bacon.

Step 8 –Bake until the bacon is crisp and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45-55 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve.
