Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 cups water
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can of stewed tomatoes
- 1 (10-ounce) package of frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (8-ounce) can of tomato sauce
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope of onion soup mix
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Directions
Step 1 –In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the beef, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
Step 2 –Drain the fat from the saucepan.
Step 3 –Add the water, stewed tomatoes, mixed vegetables, tomato sauce, onion soup mix, and sugar.
Step 4 –Bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 5 –Reduce the heat to low and cover, allowing the mixture to simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 6 –Serve.
