  • 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 8 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped, plus more, whole leaves, to taste, for garnish


Step 1 –In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the tortellini to al dente, according to package directions. Drain the water.

Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon pieces, stirring occassionaly, until they are crisp.

Step 3 –Transfer the cooked bacon pieces to a paper towel-lined plate, then drain the drippings from the skillet.

Step 4 –In the same skillet over medium heat, add the heavy cream, the parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of the parsley, and the cooked bacon pieces. Stir in the cooked tortellini.

Step 5 –Serve the tortellini garnished with the extra parsley leaves.
