Buttery Lobster Tails

Peanut butter and jelly are often heralded as the classic food pairing, but they have a challenger with lobster and butter. Just have a look at Buttery Lobster Tails; this is a dish that makes the most of the tender, scarlet seafood with its natural sweetness and saltiness and the richness and creaminess of the butter. Throwing in some herbs for a bit of fragrance and extra savory flavoring only highlights how good putting lobster and butter together tastes. Buttery Lobster Tails, ready in less than half an hour, might just become your new go-to lunch when peanut butter sandwiches just can’t cut it.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, minced
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to broil or to 500 degrees F.

Step 2 –Transfer the lobster meat from the shell and season it with the salt and the pepper. You can also simply open the lobster tails, ensuring all the meat is exposed so it cooks properly, for decoration.

Step 3 –Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.

Step 4 –In a small bowl, whisk the melted butter, the garlic, the paprika, the thyme, the rosemary, and the parsley together.

Step 5 –Evenly pour the seasoned butter over the lobster tails, reserving some for serving.

Step 6 –Broil the lobster tails until the meat is opaque, lightly browned on top, and their internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F, about 8-10 minutes.
