Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (8-ounce) package frozen (fully-cooked) breakfast sausage links, thawed and cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk,
  • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it in an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Press the dough onto the bottom of the dish and 1/2-inch up on the sides to form the crust.

Step 4 –Top the dough with the sausage and the shredded cheese.

Step 5 –Beat the eggs in a bowl.

Step 6 –Stir the milk, the green peppers, the salt, and the pepper into the eggs.

Step 7 –Carefully pour the egg mixture over the sausage mixture.

Step 8 –Bake the dish uncovered until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 9 –Cut into 12 pieces and serve.
