Cheesy Tuna Melties are little luncheon delights, ready to enchant everyone you invite to tea! A crispy English muffin holds up an open-face sandwich of savory and creamy tuna salad, melty and sharp cheddar cheese, and a bright tomato for balance! These are little effort, little clean-up, and no worry treats that feel like a snack but are hearty like a full meal! Cheesy Tuna Melties will just melt your heart!

Ingredients

  • 1 (5-ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1/3 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • salt, to taste
  • 4 English muffins, split and toasted
  • 8 slices ripe tomato
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese

Directions

Step 1 –Set the oven to broil.

Step 2 –In a bowl, add the tuna, the celery, the mayonnaise, and the salt and mix to combine.

Step 3 –Spread the tuna mixture onto the cut-side of the toasted muffin halves.

Step 4 –Place the tuna-topped muffin halves on a baking sheet.

Step 5 –Top each of the tuna layers with a slice of the tomato and a slice of the cheddar cheese.

Step 6 –Broil until the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 7 –Serve.
