Ingredients

  • 1 (6-ounce) can light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dillweed
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-fat sour cream
  • 3 cups Boston lettuce leaves
  • 6 grape tomatoes, sliced
  • cucumbers, optional, to taste, sliced
  • fresh dill, optional, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –In a small bowl, combine the tuna, the red onion, the parsley, the dillweed, the garlic salt, the thyme, the pepper, and the cayenne.

Step 2 –Add the mayonnaise and the sour cream to the tuna mixture and stir to combine.

Step 3 –Divide the lettuce between two plates and top with the tuna salad.

Step 4 –Serve the tuna salad with the tomatoes and the cucumbers. Garnish with the dill.
