Crescent Wreath

There’s a wreath on the door and now a wreath on the table… but the latter is even more welcoming and of course more delicious! The Crescent Wreath invites everyone to start enjoying themselves with buttery pieces of crescent roll wrapped around a truly festive filling: sweet and tart cranberry sauce, creamy brie, and succulent bacon. The Yuletide charm never stops with the Crescent Wreath; in fact, you may be tempted to skip dinner entirely and just eat this!

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/3 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12-ounce) brie wheel, cut into cubes
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • parsley, optional, chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Unroll the crescent rolls, separating each of the triangles.

Step 4 –Arrange the crescent triangles in a sunburst pattern, with the pointed ends of the triangle facing outward and the bases overlapping.

Step 5 –Spread the cranberry sauce on the dough.

Step 6 –Top the sauce with the brie and then the bacon.

Step 7 –Fold the triangle tips over, filling and tucking them under the base to secure.

Step 8 –In a small bowl, whisk the eggs.

Step 9 –Brush the egg wash on top of the dough.

Step 10 –Sprinkle the egg-washed dough with the salt and the pepper.

Step 11 –Bake until the dough is golden, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 12 –Garnish with the parsley.

Step 13 –Serve.
