Easy Watermelon Margarita

Step aside, boring cocktails — the perfect summer cocktail, the Easy Watermelon Margarita, has arrived! This watermelon-flavored margarita can be served frozen or on the rocks. It is deliciously refreshing and sweet. This Easy Watermelon Margarita is the ultimate hot-weather, poolside drink, or you can make it during the colder months for some sippable summer vibes!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen watermelon
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1 heaping cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon agave, optional
  • lime wheels, optional, to taste
  • coarse salt, optional, to taste
  • mint leaves, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Cut the watermelon into pieces.

Step 2 –Freeze for at least 6 hours.

Step 3 –Combine the frozen watermelon, the tequila, the triple sec, the lime juice, and the ice in a blender. Add the agave if you prefer a sweeter cocktail.

Step 4 –Blend until fully incorporated.

Step 5 –Using 1 of the lime wheels, trace the rims of the intended serving glasses.

Step 6 –Add the salt to a plate or shallow bowl. Dip the rims of the glasses into the salt.

Step 7 –Pour the margarita evenly into the salt-rimmed glasses.

Step 8 –Garnish with more of the lime wheels and the mint.

Step 9 –Serve.
