This dish knows just the right way to ham it up! There’s plenty of savory, salty ham in Hammy Casserole, of course, mingling and sharing the stage with buttery egg noodles, a creamy mushroom sauce, and plenty of fresh and refreshing veggies! Melted cheese makes all the difference, but Hammy Casserole knows it’s really all about the ham! Good pork times all around!

  • 8 ounces egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 (8-ounce) container chive-and-onion-flavored cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups baked glazed ham, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen asparagus, thawed
  • 6 baby carrots, chopped
  • 1 (8-ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (4-ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned croutons, crushed


Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Lightly grease two 8-inch square baking dishes.

Step 3 –Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain the noodles and set them aside.

Step 4 –Stir together the cream of mushroom soup, the chive-and-onion-flavored cream cheese, and the milk in a large bowl.

Step 5 –Stir in the cooked noodles, the ham, the broccoli, the asparagus, and the carrots.

Step 6 –Spoon 1/2 of the ham mixture evenly into the prepared baking dishes.

Step 7 –Combine the mozzarella cheese and the cheddar cheese.

Step 8 –Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese mixture over each of the casseroles.

Step 9 –Spoon the remaining ham mixture evenly over the cheese layers.

Step 10 –Combine the remaining cheese mixture with the croutons.

Step 11 –Evenly sprinkle the cheese-crouton mixture over each of the casseroles.

Step 12 –Bake the casseroles until lightly browned, about 30 minutes.

Step 13 –Serve.
