  • 2 (3.4-ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 (11-ounce) box whole vanilla wafers, plus more, to taste, crushed, for garnish
  • 4 fresh ripe bananas, sliced
  • mint leaves, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, add the milk, the vanilla extract, and the pudding mix and beat until the mixture thickens.

Step 3 –In a separate bowl, add the heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form.

Step 4 –Add about 2/3 of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture and fold gently to combine. Be careful not to knock the air out of the whipped cream.

Step 6 –Refrigerate the sweetened whipped cream.

Step 7 –Add 1/4 of the whole wafers and 1/4 of the banana slices to the bottom of a trifle bowl or a tall glass serving bowl.

Step 8 –Spread 1/4 of the pudding over the banana layer.
