Margarita Mousse brings the joy of sipping on a fresh and refreshing margarita… only now it’s a dessert that everyone can scoop up! The tart, citrus margarita flavor is mixed into a zesty, creamy, sweet mousse that’s just spoon-licking amazing. And for that salt-rim experience, Margarita Mousse even provides a crunchy pretzel topping! The party has now truly begun!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup ready-to-drink margarita mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lime zest, plus 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 5 drops green food coloring, optional
  • 1 (8-ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/3 cup pretzels, finely crushed
  • 4 teaspoons butter, melted
  • lime wheels, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, add the condensed milk, the margarita mix, 1 tablespoon of the sugar, the lime zest, and the lime juice and mix well to combine.

Step 2 –Add the food coloring and mix well to combine.

Step 3 –Add the whipped topping and fold to combine.

Step 4 –In a bowl, add the pretzels, the butter, and the remaining sugar and stir to combine.

Step 5 –Spoon the lime mixture into six glass serving cups.

Step 6 –Top each of the lime mixtures with about 1 tablespoon of the pretzel topping.

Step 7 –Freeze the mousse until firm, about 4-6 hours.

Step 8 –Serve frozen, garnished with the lime wheels.
