Mel’s Cranberry Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast halves, chopped and cooked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise, or to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/4 green apple, shredded
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed

Directions

Step 1 –Mix the chicken and mayonnaise in a bowl, stirring well to coat.

Step 2 –Stir in the green onions, dried cranberries, apple, pecans, lime juice, salt, pepper, and dill weed.

Step 3 –Serve immediately or refrigerate for several hours or up to overnight. The longer the flavors can meld together, the better.
