These deliciously tender pieces of pork chop are baked to juicy yumminess over a bed of creamy and cheesy potatoes that will truly blow your mind for a couple of reasons. First, plain and simple, it’s delicious. Second, it only requires about 20 minutes of actual hands-on time before it bakes. And last but certainly not least, after that minimal effort, you have a whole meal in one dish waiting for you to dig in! Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 8 pork chops, boneless
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 4 potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.
Step 3 –Add the pork chops to the oil and cook until seared.
Step 4 –In a medium bowl, combine the condensed soup and the milk.
Step 5 –Arrange the potatoes and the onions in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 6 –Place the seared pork chops over the potatoes and the onions.
Step 7 –Pour the soup mixture over the pork chop mixture.
Step 8 –Bake the pork chop mixture for 30 minutes.
Step 9 –Top the pork chop mixture with the cheese and bake until the meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F, about 30 minutes.
Step 10 –Serve.
