Perfect Grilled Chicken Marinade

No one likes dry, tasteless chicken. You’ll never have that problem again with this Perfect Grilled Chicken Marinade! It takes your favorite protein and elevates it to the optimal level of moist, tender goodness by covering it with a sweet, savory sauce that will make every bite more and more memorable. Whether you serve it next to veggies, put it between a bun, or plop it on a salad, your meal will be even better when this Perfect Grilled Chicken Marinade is a part of it!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more, to taste, for oiling the grill gates
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken breast, boneless and skinless

Directions

Step 1 –In a small bowl, whisk 1/4 cup of the oil, the soy sauce, the orange juice, the liquid smoke, the Dijon mustard, the garlic powder, and the black pepper together.

Step 2 –Poke the chicken breasts all over with a fork.

Step 3 –Place the chicken breasts in a dish or a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over top to cover completely.

Step 4 –Refrigerate the chicken breasts for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours.

Step 5 –Preheat the grill to medium heat, then brush the grill grates with the extra oil.

Step 6 –Add the chicken breasts to the grill and cook until a thermometer inserted into the center reads at least 165 degrees F, about 4-6 minutes per side.

Step 7 –Let the chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes.
