Quick Grilled Chicken

The chicken is glazed in a tangy, savory, garlic-infused marinade, and then grilled until juicy and tender. Ready in less than 30 minutes, Quick Grilled Chicken will impress in an instant!

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2 –Lightly grease the grill.

Step 3 –Cut three shallow slits across the top of the chicken breasts.

Step 4 –In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil, the soy sauce, the garlic powder, and the black pepper together.

Step 5 –Divide the marinade into two small bowls.

Step 6 –Use a pastry brush to brush one bowl of the marinade on both sides of the chicken breasts.

Step 7 –Grill the chicken breasts, flipping them midway through, until cooked through and no longer pink, about 6 minutes total or 6 minutes per side in a grill pan.

Step 8 –Transfer the chicken pieces to a sheet of foil and use a clean pastry brush to coat them with the remaining, unused marinade.

Step 9 –Cover the chicken pieces with another sheet of foil and allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes.

Step 10 –Slice and serve.
