Cheesy Quick Chicken Casserole takes less than an hour to make and is almost overflowing with creamy, savory, and mildly spicy sauce, tender chicken, and noodles. Cheesy Quick Chicken Casserole makes dinner time a breeze and gets your taste buds grooving!
Ingredients
- 3 cups egg noodles, uncooked
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 3 cups chicken, cooked
- 4 ounces mild green chiles or green olives, of your preference
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –Cook the pasta to al dente according to package directions.
Step 3 –Cook the onion and red bell pepper in the butter until tender, about 5 minutes.
Step 4 –Stir in the salt and chili powder.
Step 5 –In a large bowl, combine the soup, sauteed onion mixture, milk, 2 cups of the cheddar cheese and the parmesan cheese, mixing well.
Step 6 –Stir in the chicken, pasta and green chiles or olives.
Step 7 –Spread the mixture into a 9×13-inch casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Step 8 –Bake until hot and bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.
Step 9 –Serve hot.
