Sesame Chicken Noodles

Sesame Chicken Noodles are designed to amaze and satisfy. Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 (22-ounce) package frozen grilled chicken breast strips
  • 1 medium yellow summer squash, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/3 cup fresh snow peas, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages chicken ramen noodles, broken into small pieces, 1 flavor packet reserved
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium teriyaki sauce
  • 4 green onions, sliced

Directions

Step 1 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.

Step 2 –Add the chicken, the squash, and the carrots and cook until the chicken is heated through, about 6-8 minutes.

Step 3 –Add the snow peas and cook until the vegetables are crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4 –Add the garlic and the ramen seasoning packet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Step 5 –Add the noodles, the water, the wine, and the teriyaki sauce and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 6 –Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 7 –Transfer the skillet from the heat.

Step 8 –Stir in the green onions and serve immediately.
