Skinny Sangria

There doesn’t need to be a choice between great taste and watching your waistline. In fact, you can have both! Skinny Sangria proves it by pouring some of the festive brew into your cup with none of the guilt; using a reduced-sugar soda helps keeps the calories off while maintaining the lemon-lime joy. The red wine adds the fruitful body and richness, and the fruit adds the summery fun and freshness. Getting the party started is easy with Skinny Sangria!

Ingredients

  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle red wine
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh fruit, such as sliced strawberries, bite-size pineapple chunks, sliced oranges, and blackberries, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate vodka
  • 1 (16.9-ounce) bottle low-sugar lemon-lime soda
  • ice, enough to fill the serving glasses

Directions

Step 1 –Add the wine, the fruit, and the vodka into a pitcher and stir to combine.

Step 2 –Chill the wine mixture for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 3 –Mix the soda into the wine mixture just before serving.

Step 4 –Fill the serving glasses with ice.

Step 5 –Add the sangria to the serving glasses.

Step 6 –Garnish the glasses with the fruit and serve.
