Za’atar refers to a seasoning mixture popular in the Middle East, with notes of nuttiness, toastiness, herbiness, and tanginess, with a slight touch of mintiness. Za’atar Chicken coats the chicken in za’atar with other earthy, smoky spices and then slow-cooks it.
