Ingredients

  • 1 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups warm water plus 4 cups cold water, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • ice, to taste
  • fresh mint, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Add the raspberries, the sugar, and 2 cups of the warm water to a blender.

Step 2 –Blend until smooth.

Step 3 –Strain the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, using a spatula to push the liquid through. Discard any seeds.

Step 4 –Add the remaining cold water and the lemon juice to the pitcher.

Step 5 –Add the ice to the pitcher.
