Ingredients

  • 2 apples, halved
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, plus more to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 16 caramel candies
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2 –Using a melon baller, core the apples.

Step 3 –Place the cored apples in a shallow baking dish.

Step 4 –Brush each apple with the melted butter and sprinkle each apple with the cinnamon sugar.

Step 5 –Pour the water into the baking dish.

Step 6 –Place the baking dish in the oven for 20 minutes.

Step 7 –Remove the apples from the oven and add 3-4 caramels to the well in each apple.

Step 8 –Bake until the caramel is melted, about 15 more minutes.

Step 9 –Drizzle the apples with the chocolate and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.

Step 10 –Serve.
