With decorative marshmallows to add that charming Halloween silliness, it’s a mouthwateringly fun treat that takes less than 30 minutes to make!
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) box woven grain cereal, such as Chex
- 1 (12 ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 5 cups chocolate wafer cookie, smashed into crumbs
For decorating:
- marshmallow ghosts, cats, pumpkins, etc.
- gummy worms
Directions
Step 1 –Empty the grain cereal into a large bowl, then set aside.
Step 2 –Melt the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter together in a saucepan over low heat until combined.
Step 3 –Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal, tossing to ensure it’s thoroughly coated.
Step 4 –Add in 4 cups of the chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, tossing to coat.
Step 5 –Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
Step 6 –Then sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cookie crumbs over the top.
Step 7 –Cover and let set in the fridge.
Step 8 –Once set, decorate the graveyard with gummy worms, marshmallow ghosts, etc. Slice and serve.
