Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups cereal, of your choice
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –Stir the sugar, the butter, the peanut butter, the water, the vanilla, and the egg in a large bowl.
Step 3 –Stir the flour, the oats, the raisins, the baking soda, and the salt into the butter mixture.
Step 4 –Stir the cereal into the butter mixture.
Step 5 –Pour the cereal into an ungreased 9×13-inch baking pan.
Step 6 –Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 7 –Cool and cut into bars, then serve.
