Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 (1-pound) sirloin steak, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes

Directions

Step 1 -In a mixing bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, the barbecue sauce, and the mustard.

Step 2 -Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade and set it aside for basting.

Step 3 -Add the cubed steak pieces to the remaining marinade, tossing to coat.

Step 4 -Allow the steak cubes to marinate for at least 3 hours.

Step 5 -Prepare the grill gates by spraying with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 6 -Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Step 7 -Thread the steak cubes and the tomatoes onto soaked wood or metal skewers.

Step 8 -Grill the skewers, covered, until the meat reaches at least 135 degrees F for medium rare, about 8-9 minutes. Turn and baste occasionally with the reserved marinade during the last 3 minutes.

Step 9 -Serve immediately.
