Buffalo Chicken Tot Bake

This Buffalo Chicken Tot Bake takes a look at a traditional Buffalo wings meal and says, “let’s throw all of that in a casserole!” A layer of fluffy tater tots holds up a tangy, creamy, spicy, and rich Buffalo chicken filling; it’s basically like having a pre-dipped Buffalo wing in each bite! It’s even topped with crispy celery for the full Buffalo plate experience! You’d never expect there to be such a perfectly suited casserole for watching the Big Game, but then you’ve not yet tried this Buffalo Chicken Tot Bake!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup Buffalo sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Lightly coat a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, add the chicken, the sour cream, the cream of chicken soup, the Buffalo sauce, and the cheese and mix to combine.

Step 4 –Add the tater tots to the chicken mixture and fold to combine.

Step 5 –Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking pan.

Step 6 –Top the chicken mixture with the celery.

Step 7 –Bake until heated through and bubbly, about 40-45 minutes.

Step 8 –Serve hot.
