Ingredients

  • 1 (6-ounce) package seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 8 (4-ounce) chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 Swiss cheese slices, halved
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Prepare the stuffing mix according to the package directions.

Step 4 –Transfer the stuffing mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Step 5 –In a large skillet, heat the canola oil over medium-high heat.

Step 6 –Once the oil is shimmering, add the chicken and sauté until browned, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Step 7 –Sprinkle the salt and pepper over the chicken.

Step 8 –Place the chicken over the stuffing in the baking dish.
