Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli florets, washed and dried, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • lemon wedges, to taste, optional

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a baking sheet.

Step 3 –Place the broccoli on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil.

Step 4 –Sprinkle the broccoli with the salt and the pepper and toss to coat.

Step 5 –Spread the coated broccoli out in an even layer on the sheet, without overlapping, to ensure the edges get crispy.

Step 6 –Bake the coated broccoli for 10 minutes, then transfer from the oven.

Step 7 –Flip the florets over and evenly redistribute them around the baking sheet.

Step 8 –Bake the broccoli florets again until they are bright and crispy, about 5-10 minutes.

Step 9 –Serve the roasted broccoli with the lemon wedges.
