Ingredients
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 (1-ounce) packet onion soup mix
- 1 (0.87-ounce) packet brown gravy mix
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, optional
- 2 pounds cubed steak, about 6-8 pieces
- 4 ounces mushrooms, optional, sliced
- fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –In a slow cooker, add the cream of mushroom soup, the beef broth, the onion soup mix, the gravy mix, the garlic powder, and the black pepper and stir to combine.
Step 2 –Add the cubed steak pieces to the slow cooker and lay them out flat.
Step 3 –Ladle a little of the gravy mixture over the tops of the steaks.
Step 4 –Top the steaks with the mushrooms.
Step 5 –Cover and cook until the cube steaks are tender, about 6-8 hours on low and 3-4 hours on high.
Step 6 –Serve garnished with the fresh chopped parsley.
