Grilled Cabbage

Grilled Cabbage? But how! Simple enough; using heavy foil, the cabbage is essentially steamed on the grill until tender and sweet! Being coated in butter and aromatic spices doesn’t hurt things either! It may not be the most conventional cookout veggie, but Grilled Cabbage could give traditional coleslaw a run for its money any day of the week, especially since it’s so fast and easy to make!

Step 1 –Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Step 2 –Cut the cabbage into eight wedges.

Step 3 –Place the wedges on a double thickness of heavy-duty foil.

Step 4 –Brush the melted butter over the cabbage, ensuring to coat both sides of each wedge.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the cabbage with the garlic salt and the pepper, then top the wedges with the chopped onions.

Step 6 –Fold the foil around the cabbage wedges and seal tightly.

Step 7 –Grill the cabbage wedges, covered, until tender, about 20 minutes.

Step 8 –Open the foil carefully to allow the steam to escape.

Step 9 –Serve.
