Honey Thighs

There’s nothing sweeter than having these Honey Thighs for dinner! Fire up your beloved slow cooker, add all of the ingredients, then get ready for some moist, juicy thighs that are swimming in a tangy, sweet sea of satisfaction! We like to serve ’em over a steaming pile of rice to balance out the flavors, but you can do whatever you please! You’ll be smiling from ear-to-ear as long as these Honey Thighs are on the recipe rotation. There’s no need to hide it; we know they’re amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2-2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • rice, optional, to taste, cooked and warm, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Place the chicken thighs in a 4-quart slow cooker.

Step 2 –In a small bowl, combine the garlic, the dried basil, the soy sauce, the ketchup, and the honey.

Step 3 –Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken thighs.

Step 4 –Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook the chicken thighs on low heat until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 4-6 hours.

Step 5 –Serve the chicken thighs over the warm rice.
