However, dining cauliflower comes with some unwanted effects on health if eaten in excess amounts. It can also result in increased bloating and flatulence as it is high in fiber.
It contains high levels of vitamin K, which can cause problems for people taking blood thinners due to its blood clotting ability. While eating steamed cauliflower increases the bioavailability of antioxidants and other nutrients, cooking on high heat in a large amount of water is not advisable.
It will destroy the available water-soluble vitamins B and C. Cooked cauliflower tastes very nutty and sweet in flavor.
