Ingredients
For the pancakes:
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Optional, for serving:
- butter, to taste
- fresh fruit, to taste
- syrup, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2 -Put the milk, the vegetable oil, the sugar, the egg, the flour, the baking powder, and the baking soda in a blender and combine until smooth.
Step 3 -Pour the batter by the spoonful onto the hot skillet, forming 5-inch circles.
Step 4 -When the edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes. They should be light brown.
