Mmmmm Crescents

Mmmmm Crescents. It’s both the name and the thing you’ll say when they reach your plate… and your taste buds! Each crescent roll is extra buttery, brushed with garlic-herb butter both inside and outside. You’ll definitely want seconds of these Mmmmm Crescents!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 string cheeses, such as mozzarella, halved crosswise

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –In a small bowl, add the butter, the Italian seasoning, and the garlic and whisk to combine.

Step 4 –Open and unroll the crescent roll dough.

Step 5 –Separate the crescent rolls into their respective perforated triangles.

Step 6 –Brush the crescent dough triangles with the garlic-butter mixture, reserving some for brushing after they have been rolled.

Step 7 –Place 1 of the string cheese halves on each of the crescent rolls at the widest end.

Step 8 –Roll up the crescent rolls so the cheese is in the middle.

Step 9 –Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining garlic-butter mixture.

Step 10 –Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 11 –Bake until the rolls are lightly browned, about 10 minutes.

Step 12 –Serve warm.
