One-Pot-Wonder Beef Tortellini

The trouble with one-hit wonders is that they disappear, get forgotten, and then are never heard again. The good thing about them though, is usually when they’re a hit, you can’t get them out of your head. One-Pot-Wonder Beef Tortellini is kind of like that, except it’s so tasty it can never be forgotten. Like the title says, the meaty beef and cheesy tortellini are whipped up in all their glory in one single pot. That fact alone is one reason why this dish is unforgettable. But once you taste it, you’ll want to have it on replay every day. One-Pot-Wonder Beef Tortellini isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and that’s a fact!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
  • 1 (19-ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup Italian cheese blend, shredded

Directions

Step 1 –In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain.

Step 2 –Add the steak seasoning, the water, and the bouillon to the beef and bring it to a boil.

Step 3 –Stir the tortellini into the beef mixture and bring it to a boil.

Step 4 –Reduce the heat and simmer the pasta mixture, covered, until the tortellini are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 5 –Transfer the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the pasta mixture with the cheese.

Step 6 –Let the pasta mixture stand until the cheese has melted, about 3 minutes.

Step 7 –Serve.
