Ingredients

  • 1 pint cookies-and-cream ice cream, softened
  • 1 (6-ounce) ready-to-use chocolate crumb pie crust, such as Oreo
  • 1 1/2 cups cold half-and-half
  • 1 (3.9-ounce) package chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 10 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreos, divided
  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Step 1 –Spread the softened ice cream evenly inside the pie crust.

Step 2 –Freeze the pie crust for at least 1 hour.

Step 3 –Whisk together the half-and-half and pudding mix in a medium bowl until blended and thickened, about 2 minutes. Spoon the pudding mixture evenly over the frozen ice cream in the pie crust.

Step 4 –Freeze the pie again for at least 1 hour.

Step 5 –Meanwhile, crush 5 of the sandwich cookies.

Step 6 –Place the whipped topping in a bowl.

Step 7 –Fold the crushed cookies into the whipped topping.

Step 8 –Spread the whipped topping mixture evenly over the frozen chocolate pudding layer in the pie crust.

Step 9 –Freeze the pie for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, crush the remaining 5 cookies.

Step 10 –Sprinkle the pie with the remaining crushed cookies.

Step 11 –Slice and serve.
