Oven-Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 6 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –In a medium bowl, add the flour and the paprika and whisk to combine.

Step 4 –Add each of the chicken thighs to the flour mixture and coat on all sides.

Step 5 –Evenly sprinkle both sides of each of the chicken thighs with the salt and the black pepper, then place them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.

Step 6 –In a second medium bowl, add the honey, the soy sauce, and the garlic and whisk to combine.

Step 7 –Pour the honey mixture over the seasoned chicken thighs. Flip the meat over, about 1-2 times, to completely coat.

Step 8 –Evenly sprinkle the red pepper flakes over the chicken thighs.

Step 9 –Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake the chicken thighs, about 30 minutes.

Step 10 –Uncover the baking dish and discard the aluminum foil. Bake the chicken thighs until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the juices run clear, about 15 minutes.

Step 11 –Serve.
