Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package linguine, uncooked
- 4 turkey or pork bacon strips, chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds of chicken tenderloins, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (15-ounce) jar roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
Step 1 –Cook the linguine according to the package directions.
Step 2 –Cook the bacon until crisp and transfer it to a plate.
Step 3 –Sprinkle the chicken with garlic powder and pepper.
Step 4 –In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Step 5 –Add the chicken, mushrooms, onion, cooked bacon, and garlic.
Step 6 –Cook, stirring until the chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F and has no pink remaining, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 7 –Drain the linguine and add it to the skillet.
Step 8 –Stir in the Alfredo sauce and heat through.
Step 9 –Sprinkle with the parmesan.
Step 10 –Serve.
