Sinful Chocolate Cake

We all want to indulge every once in a while! And there’s no better way to indulge than with a dessert that’s just so devilishly delicious! Sinful Chocolate Cake features a layer of chocolate cake soaked in sweet, creamy condensed milk and rich, buttery caramel! Then the cake is topped with homemade whipped cream and candy pieces! Mmmm, let’s get sinfully decadent with Sinful Chocolate Cake!

Ingredients

  • 1 (13.25-ounce) box chocolate cake mix, of your choice, plus the ingredients called for on the box
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar caramel topping, or homemade caramel sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 chocolate toffee bars, such as Heath® bars, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Prepare the cake according to the package directions for a 9×13-inch cake, then allow it to cool completely.

Step 2 –Poke holes in the cake with a fork or a wooden skewer.

Step 3 –Pour the caramel topping over the cake.

Step 4 –Pour the condensed milk all over the cake, using just 1/2 of the can if desired.

Step 5 –In a mixing bowl, add the whipping cream and beat until soft peaks form.

Step 6 –Add the powdered sugar to the whipping cream and beat until stiff peaks form.

Step 7 –Smooth the whipped cream over the cake.

Step 8 –Sprinkle the whipped cream with the chocolate toffee pieces.

Step 9 –Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour.

Step 10 –Serve.
