Ingredients
For the cobbler:
- 1 (5-ounce) box cook-and-serve chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups whole milk
- 12 graham cracker squares
- 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1 (15-ounce) box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, cold and sliced
- 10 ounces miniature marshmallows

Optional, for serving:
- miniature semisweet chocolate chips, to taste
- graham cracker squares, to taste, crushed
- whipped cream, to taste

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the chocolate pudding mix and the milk and cook according to the package directions.
Step 3 –Transfer the pudding mixture from the stovetop to a wire rack and let it cool in the pot, about 15 minutes.
Step 4 –In an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish, evenly spread the cooled pudding mixture.
Step 5 –In a single layer, add 12 of the whole graham cracker squares on top of the pudding mixture.
Step 6 –Evenly sprinkle the graham cracker layer with 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips.
Step 7 –Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the chocolate chip layer.
Step 8 –Evenly dot the cake mix layer with the cold butter slices.
Step 9 –Bake until the cake is almost cooked through, about 25 minutes.
Step 10 –Transfer the baking dish to a wire rack and stir the cobbler mixture to moisten any dry spots of the cake mix.

Step 11 –Evenly add the miniature marshmallows and 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips to the top of the cobbler mixture.
Step 12 –Bake until the marshmallows are puffy and light brown, about 5-8 minutes.
Step 13 –Allow the cobbler to cool for 15 minutes.
Step 14 –Top the cobbler with the remaining chocolate chips, the graham cracker crumbs, and the whipped cream.
