Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) package linguini, cooked
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 –In a large pot of salted, boiling water, cook the linguini to al dente according to the package directions.
Step 4 –Drain the water from the linguini and return the pasta to the pot.
Step 5 –While the linguini is cooking, in a large bowl, combine the butter, the chicken, the cream of chicken soup, the sour cream, the Italian seasoning, the salt, the pepper, and the chicken broth and mix well.
Step 6 –Stir the cooked linguini into the chicken mixture.
Step 7 –Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 8 –Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and the mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
Step 9 –Bake the chicken mixture, uncovered, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the cheeses are melted and bubbling, about 35–45 minutes.
Step 10 –Serve.
