Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cups barbeque sauce, divided
- 1/2 cup light beer or chicken broth
- 8 hamburger buns
- coleslaw, optional, to taste, store-bought or homemade, for serving

Directions
Step 1 -In a slow cooker, add the chicken breasts, the garlic powder, the salt, and the pepper and toss to coat.
Step 2 -Add the onions, 1 cup of the barbeque sauce, and the beer and stir gently to combine.
Step 3 -Cover and cook until the chicken breasts are cooked through and tender, about 6-7 hours on low and 3-4 hours on high.
